 Hi Ladies,

      First let me introduce myself for those who don't know me. My name is Judy and I am married to Bill Davy.  He served on the USS Diablo in 1959 as a Torpedoman. We live in Troy, Michigan,  I am a mother of three daughters, and a grandmother of five.  I was an insurance agent, but have been retired for a number of years.  I have a number of interests including gardening, reading, Zumba,volunteering at the Gift Store at the Troy Museum, learning German, and obviously the computer.

    I volunteered to help Tim with the Diablo website.  Since I am a novice, he gave me this page to practice on before turning me loose on the rest of the website.

   We could use this page to share news, to get to know each other and to plan activites for Ladies at the 2012 reunion in Charleston, SC.

Following are the Biographies that I have received.

I am Carol Calvert, originally from Buffalo NY and have been married to Tim for 45 years. Tim was an engineman on the Diablo 60-62.  We live in Maryland north of Baltimore. We have three daughters  one son and a cat. The cat still lives at home but the others have left  and are doing well.

I am involved in church related activities and currently knitting prayer shawls. Since I started this project with another friend we have over thirty praying and stitching.

I really enjoyed being with the other wives at the reunion in New London  and am looking forward to the next one in Charleston SC.  The other wives have a great since of humor ( a must have if married to one of this crew) and are a hoot to share stories with.

Sarah V Robinson, born Glasgow, Scotland UK , mother of three sons, grandmother to nine grandchildren (8 princesses and 1 prince)lived first 32 years of life in the UK, transferred to the USA with husband Richard settled in New Jersey. Attended Rowan University, earned Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, worked for International publishing company for 20 years. Semi retired in 2005, opened administratative services business dealing with large banks and financial groups. Fully retired in 2010, travelling the USA with Richard in a 37 foot recreational vehicle since June 2010.As of Jan 2012 we are still travelling. Hobbies are reading, swimming and meeting new people.
